By agreeing to accept your case, we are responding to YOUR ACTIVE REQUEST FOR US TO ASSIST YOU in not only regaining your health, but in maintaining that level of health that is optimum for you. In that light, we ask that you comply with the doctor's recommendations as closely as possible.  Clinical care/CAM plans are only advised when deemed necessary and reasonable by the clinic director.  Just as diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic issues require periodic follow-up care to prevent complications and disability, many neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions do as well.  Degenerative joint diseases cause you to have alterred bio-mechanics of the involved structures, as do joint replacements, leading to possible spinal/joint torsion and dis-ability.  These patients need to understand that periodic AK-NMS follow-up exams are needed to help slow the progression of their dis-ease, and to help them stay self sufficient for as long as possible!
