-  In June, Dr. Engen attended the Summer ICAK International Conference in L.A.  Many new papers were presented that highlighted the neurological complications of even minor injuries; an issue that we check on each and every patient here at the NE.  Hello Harvest!  Most of us are well into our late summer outdoor routines of yard work, garening, etc. TIP: To avoid frustration, use a daily planner or wall calendar to schedule one or two   activities per day, then shuffle them around as weather permits. Do some warm up exercises before taking on any outdoor task.  Fall is allergy time...again.  This year we have found that many people are helped with their airborn allergies by taking flax oil daily during the harvest season.  If you have airborn allergy symptoms, why not give it a try. Otherwise, call us for your late summer AK-NMS check-ups, which you can only get at the NE. Kinesiology Center, here in NE.  (NMS = neuro-musculo-skeletal).      

Direct sun can cause serious skin damage in just a few minutes.  Please protect yourselves.
